The Architect Assessor is someone who holds the relevant qualification and is a member of a nationally recognised built environment institution (i.e. RIBA, RSAW or RIAS.) and from an established practice and will lead the assessment visit on the day. The architect is also allowed to submit schemes, however if they are doing so then they should inform to the Trust, if they are entering a scheme in an area they are assessing, or where there may be a conflict of interest. The Architect is the leader in the assessment process
