Information about this winner

This scheme brings together two related facilities within the campus of St Aloysius Church. The Spirituality Centre caters for both the college and the local community, and includes a prayer room and conference facility. The Residence incorporates accommodation for priests.  The modern building is situated at the end of a run of sandstone tenements, and its carefully detailed concrete reflects the high quality stonework of its neighbours.  The use of light and open corridors reduces the institutional feel of the building.
