The scheme forms the final stage of a student village, providing 200 rooms, student union and restaurant on the largest campus in London. The scheme illustrates a good use of natural ventilation and light especially in the ground floor restaurant, which is also used by the wider community. Built on a brownfield site, the scheme makes a significant contribution to the general regeneration and invigoration of the area, and is a positive addition to the public realm.
