Information about this winner

Winner of the second BBC2 Restoration series in 2004, the project involved the restoration of two medieval timber-framed buildings. A community led scheme, the restoration has resulted in facilities for both tourism and education. This project has brought back to life a complex of ancient buildings, previously suffering from lack of investment. They are enjoying a new lease of life and should now provide a valuable community resource for many years to come.
