Originally designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens, the crypt has finally been opened to visitors through an improved access link. The glass and steel structure provides a generous threshold before visitors descend to the brick vaults of the crypt. A difficult challenge, the results of which bring this hidden masterpiece into the public realm.
