Information about this winner

Originally opened in 1829, the museum has been redeveloped and refurbished. A real asset for local people and visitors to Scarborough, the museum also provides a learning resource. The interiors are good, and maximize the use of space, with the staircase being particularly clever.  Attention to internal detail is excellent and well planned
