Information about this scheme

This project has delivered over 5500m2 of space contained within five new buildings, whilst incorporating a Grade 2 listed building that has undergone substantial renovation during the works to ensure it will be part of the College estate for many years to come. The design provides a rich spatial experience with numerous routes around the scheme to provide interest and variety in the way one experiences the original Pembroke College buildings. Materials are carefully chosen to provide a mix of tradition and grandeur and internal public spaces make generous use of stone and a contemporary take on the traditional oak panelling of the original College buildings. The buildings are designed to evoke a sense of tradition while offering a range of contemporary spaces.
