ADP

ADP is an employee-owned architecture practice, founded more than 50 years ago. The practice has wide experience across a number of key sectors including healthcare, education, hospitality, workplace and residential.  

Their buildings are designed to create positive experiences for people and communities, and to benefit the environments they sit within. They use a bespoke Sustainability, Belonging and Engagement assessment tool to measure and improve the social and environmental impact their projects have.

As an international practice, they work from eight different locations across the UK, Cyprus and India, but as one team with a wide range of expertise to suit any project.

AHMM

Allford Hall Monaghan Morris was formed in 1989 by Simon Allford, Jonathan Hall, Paul Monaghan and Peter Morris. The four founding directors had met at The Bartlett School of Architecture, and worked together on their final year diploma project, The Fifth Man. This project would prove to be significant in establishing a way of working that has endured throughout AHMM’s thirty years in practice. 

AHMM became a limited company in 2010, and a fifth director, Nigel Harris, joined the board in 2017. From its beginnings as four founders, the practice has grown to more than 400 employees based in London, Bristol, Madrid, Oklahoma City and Sydney. 

Architectural ambition is the practice’s driving force, and by focusing their energies on the quality of their work and valuing this above all else, they put themselves in the best position to serve their clients well, to support their people’s careers and to maintain a healthy business.

BDP

BDP is a major international, interdisciplinary practice of architects, designers, engineers and urbanists.

They work closely with users, clients and the community to create special places for living, working, shopping, culture and learning across the world.

Founded in 1961, they now have studios across the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, the MENA region, India, and China. BDP has a leading track record in all major sectors including health, education, workplace, retail, urbanism, heritage, housing, transport, leisure, public safety and energy utilities.

They combine expertise across disciplines, locations, sectors and all major building types to deliver a truly integrated way of working — resulting in high quality, effective and inspiring built spaces.

Emrys Architects

Emrys has developed a portfolio of high-profile cultural, residential and commercial buildings peppered with tiny, quirky projects - all approached with the same intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and flair. They are a practice with a purpose.

Emrys has a real sense of excitement, an understanding that the ethos that underpins their work is perfectly in tune with the times. They value on-going relationships over one-off quick-fix deals; lasting performance over short-term gain. Their purpose is to deliver buildings that respect the environment, enrich their context, and withstand the test of time. But perhaps most of all, their purpose is to get to know their clients, to understand how they want to live and work, and to help them to realise their dreams.

EPR Architects

EPR Architects is an award-winning practice with a well-established reputation for quality architecture, masterplanning and interior design thanks to their extensive experience delivering an array of building typologies across workplace, lifestyle and leisure sectors.

From their central London, Manchester and Wrocław studios, their experienced team of over 200 talented people collaborate to produce vibrant and inventive architecture in response to their client’s unique requirements. This approach, understanding and experience has ensured their continuous association with many of the country’s leading clients.

FaulknerBrowns Architects

FaulknerBrowns is an architectural design practice with a national and international reputation. Formed in 1962, the practice has maintained its ambition to deliver award-winning buildings which provide inspiring environments in which to live, learn, work and play.

Their headquarters office is located in Newcastle upon Tyne from which they service projects across the UK, Europe and worldwide. Our practice culture of research and innovation has resulted in their projects redefining a number of building typologies creating an architecture which responds appropriately to the demands of today's society.

At FaulknerBrowns, they continually push the boundaries of their knowledge, to learn from past experience informing future design projects so that they are always moving forward in their design approach. This philosophy permeates the whole of their business: in the management of their office, their staff, their projects, their skills and expertise. 

They are acutely aware of the influence their buildings have upon society and have over 40 years designed facilities which have won over 120 design awards - this represents an independent benchmark of the quality of the buildings they have delivered.

Haverstock Associates

Haverstock is an architectural practice that puts people first. Their buildings are designed to enhance people’s lives, and in their own small way, make the world a better place. For them, the process of architecture is collaborative and democratic — they want clients and people who use the buildings to have a voice, and to shape the way their building ends up.

They focus on specialist public-sector projects, using fresh eyes and lateral thinking to tackle varied and complex briefs. With over 30 years’ experience, they've designed buildings of all kinds — specialist schools and colleges, police stations and firing ranges, churches and crematoria, social housing and offices.

They're a medium-sized practice, and each job the studio takes on is led by one of their three partners. As well as the usual architectural services, they also can help out with client design advisor services, technical guidance, and design review. They've won their fair share of awards, but what’s more important to them is that their contribution makes a real difference in the community, and to the people who cross the threshold every day.

Hopkins

Hopkins is a pioneering architectural practice.

The principles they were founded on over 40 years ago – clear and logical design thinking, an honest expression of materials and purpose, a respect for context and the desire to do more with less – are perhaps even more relevant now than they were then.

Their consistent and rigorous approach has resulted in a portfolio of ground-breaking, beautiful and functional buildings, no two of which are the same. Each project is a unique expression of its circumstances, and a response to a particular set of challenges and constraints.

They were early exponents of integrated sustainability in architecture and have continued to take a pro-active approach to environmental design whether in new buildings such as their Living Planet Centre for WWF or in the adaptive re-use of existing buildings as at 100 Liverpool Street.

Hugh Broughton Architects

Hugh Broughton Architects are one of the established talents of contemporary British architecture with a portfolio of high quality and elegant designs spanning the cultural, science and business sectors.

Pushing the frontiers of design and technology their projects are characterised by innovative, well-built spaces, which are a delight to use.

The company has been built around a core of experienced architects who have worked together for many years and who understand each other’s strengths and skills. Their work is carried out in a friendly, lively and financially secure atmosphere. Their team spirit allows them to quickly adapt to changing situations. This flexibility lies at the heart of their practice.

In 2012, the practice won the ‘International Breakthrough Architect of the Year Award’ at the prestigious Building Design Awards, in recognition of their work in Polar Regions. The award is given to ‘the practice that has shown the most imagination opening up work in an international market’. The judges praised the firm for ‘engaging with the special issues of place rather than exporting a British architecture abroad’.

Momentum

Momentum Structural Engineers are a creative, award-winning civil and structural engineering practice. Their designs are distinctive. Everything they do demonstrates our creative thinking; it’s clever, pragmatic and beautifully functional. They apply existing knowledge in new ways, exploring lateral solutions to find unusual answers, fusing creative flair with solid technical delivery.

Their work ranges from simple, economic solutions to large-scale projects where we support the architectural team in solving complex technical problems.

NICK COX ARCHITECTS

Nick Cox Architects was established in 2006 and is based in north Oxfordshire. The practice also has offices in London and Frome, Somerset. The practice specialises in the repair and conservation of historic buildings and the design of new buildings in historic contexts.

Renaissance

Started in 2012 by experienced engineers Helen Gribbon and Kevin Gilsenan, renaissance grew out of a desire to do things better.

Better, more efficient designs. Better, more diverse teams that bring different backgrounds and experiences to the table. Better approaches to reducing carbon and material waste.

It’s been over a decade since they started the journey and in that time they have evolved from a small consultancy to a firm with over 25 employees. From their roots working on small yet unique developments like Ashton Baths to working on distinctive, structures-led developments like Manchester’s Viadux, their engineering approach has positioned them as a consultancy of choice for some of the country’s most ambitious developers and architects.
